Kezza:
G’day, I’m Kezza, the heart and soul behind Australian Homestead. I’ve always had a deep connection to the land and a love for sustainable living. On our homestead journey, I wear many hats – from gardening enthusiast to idea extraordinaire (that’s just a fancy way of saying more idea’s then hours in the day!). Together with my partner, Lanky, we’re committed to creating a space that reflects our values of self-sufficiency and a love for the great outdoors.
Lanky:
G’day, Mates! I’m Lanky, the other half of this dynamic duo. I may be tall, but my heart is firmly rooted in the homesteading lifestyle. From learning how to tend to our animals to playing with the farm equipment, I’m here to share the trials and triumphs of our homestead journey. Join me as I learn and grow alongside Kezza, our wonderful family, and our spirited Jack Russell, Cookie.
The Kidlets in the Mob:
Our homestead wouldn’t be complete without our three Kidlets – Anna, Liam, and Daisy. They bring joy, laughter, and an extra set of helping hands to our daily adventures. Whether they’re getting their hands dirty in the garden or chasing the chickens around, our kids play a vital role in shaping our homesteading story.

Woof! I’m Cookie, the furry four-legged member of the Australian Homestead crew. At 5 years old, I bring endless energy and enthusiasm to our homesteading adventures. Whether I’m chasing cabbage moths in the garden or keeping a close eye on the chickens, I’m always up for some fun. Stick around to see the world through my wagging tail and maybe pick up a few dog-friendly homesteading tips!
Our Homestead Journey Begins:
Recently, we took a giant leap towards our homesteading dreams by purchasing 30 acres of land in the Adelaide Hills. As we embark on this exciting journey, the builders will hopefully soon be hard at work crafting our family home. While the hum of construction fills the air, we’re diving headfirst into homesteading life, sowing the seeds of a life well-lived on our new property.
